@AlphaCHarly, bamacken - great, glad it works for you and thanks for sharing the solution. Probably the initial browsers you've used tried to unpack the .gz file for you messing things up. Generally, you don't need any special software to download that, just a usual browser would do.

 

@Fish The symptoms are indeed strange and, as rmm200 noted, aren't looking like a FW problem, rather a HW one. Given the behavior, it may be a faulty connection somewhere or a half-broken track, though I'm not sure.

 

The 1.0 was just released, see here: Download Center I haven't tried it yet.

 

I log into my browsers on my PC and IPhone and I cannot open the ULR at 192.168.1.117

Are you able to ping that IP and what does the "telnet 192.168.1.117 80" results in (when run from your PC)?

Though I'd rather suggest you to start another thread for this specific problem, because this one is mainly devoted to the 0.9.0 image.
